Last words on page and now it’s time to format and edit. I’m happy to say I’m ahead of schedule and sad to say this story will soon be sent off into the world.
Let’s talk managing expectations shall we? Sales are slooow. I mean a snail is probably moving faster than my book right now. I’ve been listening to some very helpful podcasts and reading articles for tips and tricks on how to be successful in this indie publishing thing and you know what they all say? Write more books.
So here I am finishing book number two. Pecking away at book number three and trying to determine the what who and why of books four and five. I’ll let you in on a little secret. I’ve just scrapped my original premise for book five (Seattle Hearts Book 3) because of the story arc in my third book (Seattle Hearts Book 2). We won’t even go into the issue I’m having with the heroes of those two books trying to explain to me why their story should be next.
I’m starting to think I might have to right them at the same time with and do a rapid release. Stayed tuned for that.
